The idea behind the opening sequence was to progress the film's storyline through newspaper headlines. The film opens with an interaction between the two lawyers representing their respective clients and is followed by the opening sequence which leads to the films first court session. The title sequence helps establish many allegations made against the accused Mahlti Maske through a series of newspaper articles as it is a high profile case. The newspapers shown in the sequence are in Marathi & English to establish the films geographical importance. The order in which the newspaper headlines was also a crucial fact for the progress of the storyline. The final treatment was creating the sequence in which the newspaper was coming of the printing press and create a feeling of sensationalization to heighten the tension.
